Community Room Overview
The Community Room is a multipurpose space on the second floor of the library used for adult and children's programs. The room can also be reserved by the public, including the attached rooftop patio. Fees may apply.
Note: library sponsored events take priority for room reservations.

Community Room Features
- 46'x28' indoor space.
- Outdoor patio space with 4 high-top tables, 4 chairs per table.
- Seating inside for 200, chairs only.
- Seating for up to 49 at 17 moveable tables (double the number if both sides of the tables are utilized).
- Space can be divided in half to house two separate meetings.
- Overhead projector and screen, wireless microphone, Blu-ray/DVD player and laptop HDMI connection available.
- Stove and refrigerator for storing and reheating food (no cooking is permitted).
Non-Profit Use
- Non-profits may reserve space at no charge.
- A non-refundable food fee will be charged if food is served. See Room Rates below for current fees.
Note: non-profits still pay hourly rental rates for after hours events.
For profit Use
- For profit groups pay an hourly rental fee. This includes private parties, not only business events.
- A refundable cleaning deposit will be taken if food is being served and will be returned after the room is checked for cleanup.

Room Rates
All room rental fees are Library Board approved and subject to change. Current fees are included on the Community Room Reservation Request Form.
Community Room Reservations
Community Room reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. Library sponsored events take priority for reservations.
Fill out the Community Room Reservation Request Form to request the room for your event.
Study Room
The Study Room is a small space on the ground floor of the library adjacent to the south entrance.

Study Room Features
- A small desk.
- Two chairs.
- Whiteboard (markers and eraser available on request).
The door can be closed to block most sound but one side of the room and door are glass and do not provide privacy.
Study Room Reservations
Reserve a Study Room.
If the room is not reserved, it is always available for walk-in use by any patron. If the room is reserved, the Michigan Room on the second floor is a great alternative space.
Note: the Michigan Room cannot be reserved by the public.
Study Room reservations are taken on a first come, first served basis. The room can be reserved for recurring meetings one quarter at a time, meaning time-slots can be reserved from January to March, then from April to June, etc.
Reservations for each quarter can be made as of the last two weeks of the prior quarter.
