Join local Author Maggie Murphy and her daughter Mary Kate Murphy for the launch of the 10th Anniversary edition of their book Sara Dippity.
From Maggie's website:
Sara Dippity shares the story of a young girl who finds peace and healing through encounters with a cardinal in her backyard. Sara Dippity was originally illustrated when my daughter, Mary, was in 5th grade. We discussed the idea of creating new illustrations for the 10th Anniversary Edition but thought the original art helped share the story of healing from a child’s perspective.
Join us for the book launch party on April 23, 2022!
- Hastings Public Library Community Room (10% of sales will be donated to the library)
- 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
- Book Talk at 11:00 a.m. (Discussing the story behind Sara Dippity and exploring where healing can be found)
- Limited quantities of cardinal themed gifts will be available (tea towels, note cards, art prints, etc.)
