Hey Kids, Do You Want to Be a Writer?

Join us for 6 weeks in October and November 2023 to learn about writing, illustrating and publishing a book.

The book you create will actually be printed and
added to the collection here at the Hastings Public Library!

When: Tuesdays from October 3 - November 14 (not including October 31)

Time: 3:30pm - 5pm

Details:

We will meet six times throughout October & November to learn about the process of creating a book. This is a lot of work in a short amount of time. Completing your book on time will likely include work outside the designated program schedule.

These are our expectations for all participants:

• Attend at least four of the six sessions. (Preferably all sessions but we understand that life happens)
• If you miss a session please continue to work on your project- due dates will remain the same.
• Arrive on time and prepared to participate.
• Give and receive constructive criticism.
