Search and Rescue Canine Demo

Michigan Search and Rescue is a all-volunteer missing persons response team fielding certified canine teams in Michigan and the Great Lakes Region. Michigan Search and Rescue teams are being hosted by Barry County 4-H Club and Hastings Public Library to share about their passion to bring people home and will perform a live demo.

Meet at the Barry County Fairgrounds Show Arena bleachers on Monday, June 24^th at 6:30pm and join the 4-H members to learn more about search & rescue, the volunteer teams themselves, the 16 or more hours of training they participate in together each month, and testing that they do to be prepared at a moment’s notice to find the lost.

These highly trained and certified canine teams are available 24/7 at no charge throughout the Great Lakes area and never stop training or challenging themselves in order to be prepared for any eventuality.
